This is a short post with some information about the “Dirty Dozen” For those of you who have not heard this term before, it refers to certain produce items which commonly have the highest amount of chemical residue from harmful pesticides. To avoid consuming these harmful substances, it is best to buy these items from organic producers or to at least be washing them thoroughly with a fruit and veggie rinse of some kind.
